About the Event
Enjoy an in-depth, on site, guided exploration of Mother Cabrini’s life at the National Shrine of Frances Xavier Cabrini, and the public life of St Hedwig through the hidden gem of her church in Bucktown.
Soldier Field filled from ground to rafters with Mother Cabrini’s friends and fans – even decades after her death. We will visit the sizable hospital chapel and private room where Mother Cabrini left earth for heaven, the museum and giftshop. St Hedwig stood in the gap between centries and countries in the and again during Chicago’s pepper riot and post WWII changes. Come be inspired by their lives. T hese women have different stories, different legacies and one vibrant focus. They shape our cityscape, and remain an influence of strength and grace. Come be inspired by their lives and the beautiful places built in their honor.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for registration purposes. Shrine entrance fee included.
