Hallowed Ground – Cemetery Tour

Famous architectural landmarks, Holy Souls and peaceful resting grounds are the subject of this November tour. Queen of All Saints cemetery is beautifully landscaped, historically and artistically rich, including a Neo-Gothic Revival mausoleum colorfully appointed in  mosaic, metal work, stone and wood carvings and tile. Pilsen before the Feast

Join us just before the festivities take off in Pilsen! Three churches in the neighborhood, with distinctly different ethnic roots have their own stories and remarkably different architecture. Each, however, are unified in their celebrations on December 12. Special altars will be decked - not for Christmas yet - but for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Come learn of the origins of the churches, as well as the customs and traditions surrounding December 12.
