Chicago's Bridgeport

This tour runs right before the C2E2 convention! Gear up your imagination with this tour of three distinctly different sacred destinations . Not just for convention go-ers, this tour is designed to open art, architecture and culture that fuses divinely spiritual realities with earthly ones.

Though the majority of the tour will be in the neighborhood of Bridgeport, by request, we will begin at St John Cantius, a deeply historical church preserved from the wrecking ball by a joyful community focused on restoration and flourishing. In the neighborhood of Bridgeport, enjoy a multi-domed church that, in spite of its enormity, is hidden in a tight community formerly settled by a multitude of distinct ethnicities. We will also explore the rare inter-city Benedictine monastery that models a code prayer, work and hospitality established in the 500s.
