Hallowed Ground ~ Cemetery Tour

Queen of Heaven Cemetery has extensive outside grounds and has 33,000 crypts in it's biggest mausoleum. We will focus on the Mausoleum, in part since it is inside and November weather may be inclement, but also because there is so much to explore indoors. Your guide will open up the meaning in the remarkable artistic renderings in marble, stone, stained glass, incredible mosaic and wood that reflect the lives of those who have gone before. Your guide will also explain Catholic burial practices  and customs. 

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Expect (slow but) extensive walking.
