The head of the Pointe-Claire Heritage Preservation Society said it plans to lobby the Quebec government to preserve the city’s iconic windmill and the adjacent convent in the La Pointe area of the Pointe-Claire Village. Both buildings are owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal, which has yet to undertake major repair work.
