Shrine Church of Christ the King Enters New Phase

Henry J. Schlacks’ Shrine Church of Christ the King (formerly the Church of Saints Clara and Gelasius) along Honorary Carmelite Way in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois is entering a new phase in its restoration. With work on the roof complete, preparation of the interior for occupancy is now set to begin.
